Her musical career began by signing with her critically acclaimed duo Pooka to WEA in 1993. Pooka (Natasha Lea Jones and Sharon Lewis) released four albums and a six singles/EPs between 1993-2001. She has Toured the USA, Europe and the UK alongside Kristin Hersh, Everything But the Girl and The Levellers. During this time she has become renowned amongst many for her powerful yet delicate melodies, vocal and songwriting style. She has collaborated with bands, Orbital ('Middle of Nowhere' album), Ultramarine ('Bel Air' album), Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey), John Coxton (Springheel Jack and Spiritualized) and John00Flemming.
Her debut album "The Morning After" (self released) is presenting a repertoire of exquisitely melodic tracks, unmistakably originating from the Pooka vein. This refreshingly organic album features among others Rob Ellis and Mark Jones (Peter Gabriel). Unfortunately "The Morning After" lack proper distribution, (just like the incredible, magnificent Pooka album Fools give birth to angels), but can be bought through her website http://www.natashajones.org or http://www.natashaleajones.com.
