Ascending from a family of musicians his original dream was to be one of the greatest bass players of all times. Natel was always inspired by his father who remains his mentor today. He learned to play the guitar as Ras Correl himself is one of Jamaica's greatest guitarists, alongside legendary guitarist Ernest Ranglin, Ras Correl's cousin. With so much musical talent in the family Natel was destined for greatness as a musician and artist from an early age. The avid composer enjoys writing his own lyrics and he finds a balance in football and pool.
Since attending primary school in Ocho Rios, Natel is committed to the principle of life long learning. After graduating from Knox College at age 15 Natel was encouraged by his parents to enter the "Digicel Rising Stars" competition designed to promote young and upcoming Caribbean talents. One of the judges, a recording artist herself, Nadine Sutherland turned out to be Natel's biggest supporter.
After discovering his talent as a singer Natel dedicated himself to the development of his career as an artist and he is steadily working towards international success. His growing local fanbase in Jamaica is proof of his outstanding talent and the appeal of his music. Natel has a passion for music and the life of an artist, on the mic, on stage and in front of the camera. Natel has been working steadily recording singles and a set of new productions is all set to hit local and international airwaves. His dreams are finally becoming reality, as the still unsigned artist is no longer just a rising star but an enterprising recording artist and role model, working with the best Jamaican producers such as Mikey Bennett and Stone Love's Rory. Natel's talent, personality, creative energy and dedication will surely carry him to the top…with the support of his fans and listeners all over the world.
