Formed in January 2011, neotropics received attention from BBC introducing, Roadrunners A&R & 247 Magazine within there first 6 months as a band. They've played legendary venues such as London's Camden Underworld, 02 Academy & Thekla supporting The Drums, Pulled Apart By Horses, Friends, Neon Indian, Givers, Citizens, Alex Winston & Various Cruelties to name a few.
There debut release 'Make Sure' was released on itunes in 2011 - which received airplay on a host of radio stations worldwide and was remixed for 2 clubs in Europe. In June 2012, neotropics played Fred Perry's DOT TO DOT festival with Pulled Apart By Horses. In August, the band released there self-produced Music Video for 'Always and Never'. It reached over 5,000 views in just 8 weeks and has since been plugged by Zomboy (No.1 in U.S itunes Electro charts) & Drop Dead Clothing.
In October 2012 Neotropics signed a record deal with Rallye Records, Japan (Discopolis, Chad Valley) with an album due out there on December 14th. The band are now promoting there latest release "Innocent Wild" with interviews in Metro Newspaper & Venue Magazine. They will be filming a brand new music video in January 2013 and plan to tour the UK for the rest of the year.
