Since releasing his debut EP in early 2007 he has developed a cult following. His songs have been described as 'different' and 'an acquired taste' due to heavily guitar driven music, however this has not stopped him from performing in various venues (read: flats) throughout Glasgow.
For his tours Nick tends to hire studio musicians as the songs cannot be recreated solo live. His line-up changes fairly often due to his numerous guitarists each coming to a horrifying end at the end of tours. Rumour has it that all 12 of his previous hired hands have all been involved in bizarre accidents, including one 'death by blimp' episode.
And yes, his amp does go up to 13 as the legends say.
