I had the great good fortune of seeing him and his group at a small venue in Austin, Texas: The Flamingo Room, on 6th St.  It was one of the most moving concerts I have ever been to.  No one, I mean NO ONE, was seated.  It was impossible to sit still.  The only other concert that equaled this one, was Habib Koite.  I would almost go so far to call it a spiritual experience.  Don't laugh, you weren't there.  If you have an opportunity to hear him, I have one word of advice: GO.

Greg Goodman
