Omer Adam Lyrics

I'm your beauty
You're my beast
Welcome to the Middle East
I'm your beauty
You're my beast
Welcome to the Middle East
The lyrics to Omer Adam's song, Tel Aviv, reflect a woman's experience of luck and romance in the bustling Israeli city. She feels fortunate to have stumbled upon a man, described as a "beast" or masculine figure, who is presumably of Arab descent ("Gever-Gever ve-Raj'al"). She is drawn to him and whispers into his ear, "Take me on the camel", expressing a desire for adventure and excitement in their relationship.
The song also celebrates the vibrant nightlife and energy of Tel Aviv, often referred to as the "White City" due to the abundance of Bauhaus buildings painted in gleaming white. The buzzing atmosphere and diverse population of the city are reflected in the line "Welcome to the Middle East" and tease an exciting and intriguing experience. The chorus repeats "Tel Aviv, my darling Tel Aviv" and "they do hi-hi to me" to convey the liveliness and revelry present in the city.
The last line of the song, "it goes up for me, it goes up and doesn't come down" shows the singer's euphoria and elation at the magical night she has experienced, possibly hinting that her relationship with the beast will continue to flourish.
