Othon's original and unclassifiable repertoire, coupled with his virtuoso piano playing, and Tomasini's huge range and unique renditions make for an intense experience that is as dark as it is lyrical. Haunting music, deranged performance and heightened theatricality are Othon & Tomasini's trademarks.
Since 2007 they have performed all over Europe in prestigious concert halls (Queen Elizabeth Hall, London), churches (Oratorio San Filippo Neri, Turin), museums (Centro Galego de Arte Contemporanea, Santiago de Compostela), cultural institutes (Art House Ekvasisa, Athens), clubs (INIT, Rome) and theatres (Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester).
In 2008 they were chosen by designer Nasir Mazhar to perform and model his creations at the "London Fashion Week" and in 2009 they were special guests at Marc Almond's concert in London's legendary Roundhouse, performing before a captive audience of 3000.
In the same year their evening at the "Bienal de Zamora" was broadcast on Radio 3 (Spanish National Radio) and their track "When I Leave You" was played on RAI 1 (the first channel on Italian television). In 2007 they were guests on the "Helter Skelter Show" on Radio Aligre in Paris and their songs are regularly transmitted on major independent stations around the world: Radio MEC (Brasil), Kser (USA) and on Kiel FM (Germany), among others.
They feature on the soundtrack (Crippled Dick Hot Wax Records) of Bruce LaBruce's movie: "Otto; or, Up with Dead People" (2008) and performed with Peter Christopherson (Coil, Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV), in a new live soundtrack to Derek Jarman's film "The Angelic Conversation" in Turin, Italy.
"When I Leave You", their first limited edition EP was released in 2007 and "Digital Angel", Othon's debut album, which contains a selection of pieces performed by Tomasini, Almond and David Tibet came out in 2008 on the Durtro Jnana label.
Othon & Tomasini are currently recording a second album entitled "Impermanence".
