He has played a leading role in a major musical theatre production, toured the UK and Europe with Phil Collins as one of ' Mike & the Mechanics ' as well as being their vocal arranger on their last album ' Rewired ', and Owen has even been harassed by Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne in the infamous " noisy neighbours " episode on MTV's record breaking show ' The Osbournes '.
As well as being a comedy script writer for a leading FM radio station in the UK, for ten years he ran a West End theatre in London's Leicester Square as well as a successful Ballroom and Latin Dancing Club. He has produced a triple platinum selling album for the Japanese band 'Buck-Tick' which became number one in their native country and Co-Produced the winning UK entry for Eurovision 2001 held in Copenhagen, for the young Sheffield singer Lindsay Dracass, having a UK top 20 hit at the same time. In 2001 he finally went back to the recording Studio with new material, releasing his second solo album ' About Time ' in the same year.
In 2009 he returned to live performance with the Scottish
Supergroup ' Four Good Men ' and then became lead vocalist for XSM ( Ex Simple Minds ) featuring original ' Simple Minds ' members Derek Forbes and Brian McGee, who to date have successfully toured the UK, the Philippines, Holland and have just completed a three week tour of Germany in 2012.
After a lengthy ' hiatus ' ( some twenty years or so ) from solo live performance, he now plans to return to the stage in 2012 once more under the name Owen Paul.

My Favourite Waste of Time
Owen Paul Lyrics
You're my, baby,
You're my favourite waste of time.
My baby, you're my favourite waste of time
Here I am, I'm playing daydreaming fool again
My favourite game
And you are the one who's got my head in the clouds above
You're the one that I love and
You're my baby, you're my favourite waste of time
My baby, you're my favourite waste of time
I don't care if being with you
Is meaningless and ridiculous
If it's wrong or right
I'm gonna give you my love tonight
And tomorrow night 'cause
You're my baby, you're my favourite waste of time
My baby, you're my favourite wast of time
Oh, oh, oh, yeah.
You're my baby, you're my favourite waste of time
My baby, you're my favourite waste of time
And one last thing
I'm gonna give you my love tonight,
And the bells gonna ring 'cause
You're my baby, you're my favourite waste of time
My baby. you're my favourite waste of time
My baby, you're my favourite waste of time
My baby, you're my favourite waste of time
