"Pagans Found came together in the fresh spring of 2005. Evolved out of collaborations within the band, we went on a journey through indie-folk that resulted in the recording of our first album, 'The Pagans', recorded in April 05 at Heartbeat Studios, Midlothian. That summer we gigged all over Scotland, in dingy bookshops and village halls to spacious techno-clubs, noisy pubs and Barn lofts. We got called 'intelligent and invigorating... difficult to pigeonhole', by the Shetland Times which we took as a compliment. Since 05 Pagans Found have gigged all over the Uk, including successful shows in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and London. we've supported leading psychopaths of celtic fusion, The Peatbog Faeries, and headlined with indie Kings (and Queens) of London, Revere, and had two very successful tours of Scotland. We've been working on our newest release, WITCHES, for the last 2 years and are extremely excited about it - we've recorded parts of it in London, Boat of Garten (a wee highland village where we rehearse, record, and recuperate) Edinburgh, and Auvergne, France (oo, get us.) Look out for gigs and releases from Pagans Found, a Transgressive North group."
