Paradisko (Victoria Louise Williams) was born 29th April 1989. Victoria was born in Wirral, Merseyside; In a little town called Brombrough. She had a troubled but very much fulfilled her passion for music first few years of growing up. Her mother decided; after being divorced from her father, decided to move to London to begin a new chapter! Victoria and her twin sister moved in March 1999 and began to go to school/college/university.
When she was growing up, her father had influenced her love for music of the dance genre. Her father listened to a lot of dance artists, for example, mousse T, Moloko, Alice Deejay, Fatboy Slim etc... Which was good, because a few years later she began to listen and began to broaden her enthusiasm to music of that genre and year. Victoria then listened to a lot of other dance music, classed as 'house music', this is when Victoria really got into this music... Her music nowadays is full of house beats and big booms, which, are very similar to most of the house DJs back then, for example, Snap!, Mark Morrison etc.
After she settled into London, in her new home, she began to slip away from 90s dance music and began to listen to chart music. She was influenced by the late Amy Winehouse, and Victoria practiced her singing, she then got obsessed with singing and made a MySpace page (No longer in use.) to show of her talent. Unfortunatly she took her singing to YouTube (Channel is no longer in use.) Where she began to receive comments that detiereated her passion for singing, and gave up for good (Victoria had been singing for 6 years). So it was back to listening to her chart music, but, luckly, she began to find very upbeat dance tracks she had never heard of before, i.e; Daft Punk, Justice and many more.
This is when those bands stuck to her like glue, Victoria would always listen to their music before bed, or at school, But she never did anything about this. A few years later she took up a job in a Boutique hairdressers in Richmond, London, where she stayed for 5 months assisting hair stylists and answering the phones. Then she applied to work in a high-end supermarket and that was to be her work placement for the next 4 years.
In October of 2010, Victoria had the biggest passion for dance music, the best since the mid 90s, this is were Victoria got to grips with YouTube and iTunes, listening to artists who had major talent! That's when she came up with the Paradisko, just a month into hearing all of this dance music/electro music. It was fabulous! All these bands and artists she never heard before were all around her, So she then began to remix using FL Studio and Virtual DJ. She became a bedroom DJ, adores listening to Busy P, DJ Mehdi, The Toxic Avenger and anything French (Circuit). Daft Punk, Moloko, Mousse T, Amy Winehouse etc are, To this day, this glued to Victoria!
