Psycho Choke is a metal band from Thessaloniki, Greece. Formed in September… Read Full Bio ↴Psycho Choke is a metal band from Thessaloniki, Greece. Formed in September of 1999 by guitarist Argy, the band’s line-up includes bassist Phantomas, drummer George Montes, guitarist Bax and vocalist Al Roy.
So far they have released two full-length studio albums, ‘Choke on This’ (Self Financed 2002) and ‘Unraveling Chaos’ (Self Financed 2010), one mini-CD called ‘The Last Moments of Absence’ (Self Financed 2007) and an 11-track demo, ‘One Mind Less’ (Self Financed 2005).
Their ‘Unraveling Chaos’ album was mastered at Hansen studios in Denmark by Jacob Hansen (Nightrage, Volbeat, Mercenary) and features guest appearances by Gus G. (Ozzy Osbourne, Firewind), Marios Iliopoulos (Nightrage) and Olof Morck (Amaranthe).
The band is known for its energetic live shows and has shared the stage with the likes of The Haunted, Soulfly, Firewind, Nightrage and Pro-Pain and in 2012 they performed in Rockwave Festival (Athens), alongside Iced Earth, Suicidal Tendencies and At the Gates.
