This jam is one of my favorites from the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack album. Besides songs by the Bee Gees and those penned by Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb that are covered by other artists, there are "Disco Inferno" by The Trammps, "Boogie Shoes" by K.C. and the Sunshine Band, three instrumentals by David Shire, including my faves, "Manhattan Skyline" and "Salsation," M.F.S.B.'s disco remake of the Nite Liters' soul instrumental from 1971, "K-Jee," and "Open Sesame" by Kool and the Gang.
