America
by Razorlight

What a drag it is the shape I'm in
Well, I go out somewhere then I come home again

I light a cigarette 'cause I can't get no sleep
There's nothing on the TV, nothing on the radio
That means that much to me

All my life
Watching America
All my life
There's panic in America
Oh, there's trouble in America, oh

Yesterday was easy, happiness came and went
I got the movie script but I don't know what it meant

I light a cigarette 'cause I can't get no sleep
There's nothing on the TV, nothing on the radio
That means that much to me
There's nothing on the TV, nothing on the radio
That I can believe in

All my life
Watching America
All my life
There's panic in America
Oh, there's trouble in America
Oh, there's panic in America, oh

Yesterday was easy
Yes, I got the news
When you get it straight, but stand up you just can't lose
Give you my confidence, all my faith in life

Don't stand me up, don't let me down
I need you tonight
To hold me, say you'll be here
To hold me, say you'll be here
To hold me, say you'll be here
To hold

All my life
Watching America
All my life
There's panic in America
Oh, she's just in America, oh

Tell me how does it feel
Tell me how does it feel
Tell me how does it feel
Tell me how does it feel

Jesus, if ever a song was more relevant than this is right now.

@Kyach Distent They have a good indie scene. Although we always prospered with that. The Shins is an American band that were pretty famous in their hayday, like Razorlight. I could name more too.

There always WAS. One of the biggest evironmental destroyers and mass animal-killing and greedy and self-obsessed and deluded nations out there, always convinced they're right, yet have the shittiest music scene possible. Even in the wonderful 80s is was pretty garbagey, and the few bright spots they had, they ignored! Plus they give us the ultimate shit that is madonna! For that they shall be always be damned. And so will everywhere else for fucking accepting it!

This was a time. Lily Allen, Duffy, The Streets, Amy Whinehouse, Corin Bailey Ray, The Kooks, Razorlight, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Hoosiers, Kasabian, the list goes on pretty much all bringing our their debuts in the same year some of them living round the corner or just seeing them around London all the time actual artists on MTV singing in British accents such creative moving music it was so new and different like our generations Brit Pop- we were spoilt. I miss it. And we all thought the Killers we’re British hahaha the good old days.

Kyach Distent

Yeah, most of it unimportant what you just named. Spoilt? Cursed more like. Brit accents? They ain't gonna be singing with a yankee drawl or a New York 'dope'. Though I don't see why not as the stuff they're putting out is almost as bad as what the US usually does, and you can keep the retarded non-killer Killers. And that aAllen embarrassment. For a start, the dumb twat's posh and trying to be 'street'. OMG!

MTV had already become a reality shit-show by 2006
