Based in Asturias, North of Spain, in 2003 was published his debut album, a home recording titled Deconstructin' Mood. It was a first approach to alt-folk which critics related to musicians like Devendra Banhard or Bonnie 'Prince' Billy. A year later was released his second album, Ballads don't change things, selected by Spanish music magazine Rock de Luxe among the best albums of the year. His third LP, On Junk, was Remate first experience in studio. Recorded by Spanish prolific producer Paco Loco, singer Muni Camón and Fernando's tour band -Carlos Toronado (guitar) and Kike Pierrot (drums), both from indie group PAL- was labelled as "collage brut folk, polyhedric and expressive. A real island in the current landscape". It opened a new experimental side on Remate's career. With the same collaborators, renamed then as "Loco Band", in 2007 was released No Land Recordings, a double album with 25 songs, "jam-packed with clouds of latex, giant wings, toxic passion, dinosaurs, enemies, falls, one-eyed singers, pain in vain, kitties and beautiful ladiesFrom gospel sketches and echoes to silences".
