Known for his energetic live shows, he's toured nationally, playing at many of the country’s most renowned venues, and has opened for many of Country Music’s biggest names. Most recently, in October, 2011, Richie opened the show for WPOC’s “Sunday in the Country”, at Merriweather Post Pavilion, in a lineup including Josh Turner, Joe Nichols, The Band Perry, Brantley Gilbert, Steel Magnolia, Hunter Hayes, and Frankie Ballard. Now, with well-known producer, J. Gary Smith (Andy Griggs, Lonestar, and most recently managing Steve Holy), Richie is ready to take his career to the next level.

Big changes are taking place for Richie, who has already been acknowledged on CMA's “Who New To Watch” list, as well as making his debut in Country Weekly magazine’s "Who's New" feature. Richie made his national television debut on Inside Music Row and has recently been filmed with his band to appear in the upcoming motion picture “9 Ball”. He also performed again this year in Nashville during the CMA Music Festival week.

Richie’s high-energy entertainment style and ability to connect with his audience have been winning him fans for years. However, he is just as likely to seduce you with a powerful ballad as move you with a rockin’ country song. Richie’s self-penned debut single and title track for his first CD, “Man Enough To Cry”, reflects this soulful side of his personality, while the second release off of this CD, “Devil In The Mirror”, reveals the edgier side of Fields that fans have come to expect.

Recording sessions with producer J. Gary Smith, of Cotton Valley Records, have already generated two more charted radio singles on Music Row from Richie’s latest CD “Down Memory Lane” (August 2010). The emotionally charged tune “Losing You” was followed up by the hard driving single “Wichita” which climbed it’s way to #1 on the Indie World Chart. Richie has been writing like never before in 2011 and songs like “When A Good Man Dies” and “Kiss My Butt” have already been well received in Richie’s live shows, as he has given his fans a glimpse of what’s to come on his next CD.
