Pressure and Time
Rival Sons Lyrics
Give me only what I need
It doesn't take too much to keep me satisfied
Down to work for my money and earn my keep
Hunger's got a way to tame a man's pride
(Can we build it up?)
I don't know we can (can we build it up?)
Let's get to work, every woman and man (can we raise it up?)
With pressure and time (can we build it up?)
I said, I'm gonna get mine
(Can we build it up?)
I don't know we can (can we build it up?)
Let's get to work, every woman and man (can we raise it up?)
Well, with pressure and time (can we build it up?)
I said, I'm gonna get mine, yeah
Hey, I'm not asking for a throne and crown
I'm not pining for a starving queen
Tooth and nail will wear any man down
And my Mama keeps telling me I'm way too lean
(Can we build it up?)
I don't know we can (can we build it up?)
Let's get to work, every woman and man (can we raise it up?)
With pressure and time (can we build it up?)
I said, I'm gonna get mine
(Can we build it up?)
I don't know we can (can we build it up?)
Let's get to work, every woman and man (can we raise it up?)
With pressure and time (can we build it up?)
I said, I'm gonna get mine
Take me out of this mudslide of never enough (can we build it up?)
Let me eat from the fruit right off of the tree (can we build it up?)
When God gets his rest 'cause the six days are just too rough (can we build it up?)
I can only pray he doesn't forget about me, oh
(Can we build it up?)
Get to work, every woman and man (can we build it up?)
Pressure and time (can we build it up?)
Said, every woman and man (can we build it up?)
I don't know if we can (can we build it up?)
Get to work, every woman and (can we build it up?)
Pressure and time (can we build it up?)
I said, I'm gonna get mine
Oh, pressure and time, hey-hey, yeah
And I'm gonna get mine
Hmm-hmm

I'm 63 years old and I thought rock and roll was dead. Then I heard these guys. It still lives, and Rival Sons has one more fan today.

If you want to listen to some young talent that has that vintage rock sound. Check out Greta Van Fleet.
Gordon Baker
A few more to check out are Tyler's Bryant and the Shakedown, Goodbye June, Joyous Wolf, Dirty Honey, Blacktop Mojo, Dorothy, and, of course, Marcus King.

You are not wrong ...absolutely awesome

Was never dead! Many bands I know from 90's are still very much active on tour and releasing new albums. Hiphop may dominate radio and tv, but rock is still here!

I’m 68 today. Reminds me of early Bad Company. Rock on!

Welcome to the club. I've seen them in concert twice, they rocked both times!
