Southside Of Heaven
Ryan Bingham Lyrics

When I die, Lord
Oh, won't You put my soul up on a train
Won't You send it southbound
Give a cool blues man name

'Cause I've been lost on them back roads
And many times, I've gone blind
Losing faith in my family
Had drew me out my damn mind

But on the south side of heaven
Won't You take me home
'Cause I've been broke down for so long
And Lord, it's getting cold

I've been a desperado in West Texas
For so long, Lord, I need a change
For ten long years
This old place ain't seen a drop of rain

Now the wind blows everyday, Lord
Oh, like a desert snow
Like a lost bound train
Running on cocaine and out of control

But on the south side of heaven
Won't You take me home
'Cause I've been broke down for so long
And Lord, it's getting cold

Long down the Louisiana byways
Lonesome highways roll on
Oh, won't You take me where the poor man lives
It's where I call my home

Can't you see that breeze
Nothing but a change in pace
Money can't buy my soul
'Cause it comes from a hard earned place

But on the south side of heaven
Won't You take me home
'Cause I've been gone for so long
And Lord, it's getting cold

But on the south side of heaven
Won't You take me home
'Cause I've been gone for so long
And Lord, it's getting cold

When I die Lord won't you put my soul up on a train
Won't you send it southbound
Give it a cool blues-man name
I've been lost on them back roads so many times, I've gone blind
Losing faith in my family had driven me out of my damn mind

But on the south side of heaven won't you take me home
Cause I've been broke down for so long and Lord, it's getting cold

For ten long years this old place ain't seen a drop of rain
And that wind blows everyday Lord, all like a desert snow
Like a lost bound train running on cocaine and outta control

But on the south side of heaven won't you take me home
Cause I've been broke down for so long and Lord, it's getting cold

Long down the Louisiana byways
Lonesome highways roll on
Won't you take me where the poor man lives
Its where I call my home
And can't you see that a breeze, nothin' but a change in pace
Money can't buy my soul, cause it comes from a hard earned place

Blue Heaven

A chosen son of the promised land
He blasted off with a master plan
To bring back to the human race
A gleaming chunk of outer space
And he called it Blue Heaven

In a rocket built with his own two hands
From a vision seen in the dark of night
With a holy cross upon his chest
And a heart knowing wrong from right

Blue Heaven…
Blue Heaven
He’s just looking for a little piece of heaven
Blue Heaven…
Blue Heaven.

M.S. Morrison

I watched Yellowstone and went out of my mind because it's like whoever picked the soundtrack went into my music file. Been loving this forever. Get your Shazam out and make sure you explore the rest of that shows sounds

chuckie107

I've listened to his songs for while, and like his rasp, but had no clue it was him in yellowstone till his return in the bar and was like he sounds like someone, then come across this in a playlist I hadn't listened to in awhile. When it came on so did the lightbulb and said yep I'm a idiot and he sounds like someone alright ..himself 🤦🏼‍♂️. Prime example of why it's all downhill after 40... LMAO 🤣

David Carroll

I have known about this guy for awhile but Hayes Carll told me that Ryan was on Yellowstone so I watched and I don't even watch TV much but I binged this one.
