Le-Pop!, an Adelaide synth-pop outfit playing house parties alongside bands from the local underground hardcore scene. As the band moved out of lounge rooms and into more traditional venues, the simple synth-pop of the band's earlier material soon gave way to a darker sound, newer members, a truncated name and a brand new city.
Relocating to Melbourne, SNAP! CRAKK! joined a burgeoning electronic post-punk scene that would pave the way for the future success of Australian acts such as The Presets, Cut Copy and Midnight Juggernauts, whilst preempting the nu-rave genre made popular by the likes of The Klaxons.
SNAP! CRAKK! supported a whole array of touring artists including The Faint, Har Mar Superstar, Death From Above 1979, Moving Units and Buffalo Daughter. Following a series of demo recordings made in Adelaide, the band was signed to Unstable Ape, who released their 8-track mini album And The Sea Closed In Over Us in 2005.
SNAP! CRAKK! disbanded shortly afterwards, with most of the band reconvening under the Damn Arms moniker in mid-2005.
