With a retro-hi-fi kitsch and inspired electronic grooves the two CD's were some of the most original and cool music of 2001. Then, Scientific American disappeared.
In Dec. 2006, someone apparently from the original Sientfic American resurfaced as Scientific American at http://www.strongforthefuture.com. The website claims the old Sientific American music as part of its discography, and was later confirmed to be the same person when Saints of Infinity was uploaded to Bandcamp on scntfc's page (with more information on the page about the album itself).
Scientific American now goes by the shortened name, scntfc, and has been creating soundtracks for various video games and films.
