Spooncurve formed around 1996, initialy releasing ambient and trip hop into the club scene, with early trip hop club hits such as "just can't see" {quirky}, "meaning of lovers" {copasetic/Squat} "each tear" {better} and signing deals with small labels for short term deals, such as Copasetic, Quirky and Better records...they spent some years releasing singles, E.P.'s., a mini album and compilation tracks.
Their sound has evolved over time to a more organic mix of World music and ethereal textures, picking up fans in the "shoegaze", dream pop and gothic genres.
They have made several radio appearances, and have released two full length albums, ARE FRIENDS SYMMETRIC and "CLAIRSENTIENCE" on D.O.R../itunes.
Spooncurve have always tried to avoid the corporate marketing and control of the music mainstream, preferring to take long spells of apparent absence between works, appearing at tiny, intimate concerts and choosing to evolve naturally.
