Founding member of the trio Herman Düne, they split in December 2006 just before their commercial success.

His texts are full of personal moments explicit, control of nonsense poetry which is dark and disconcerting compared to the joyous tones of his guuitar (usually a 1448 SILVERTON DANELECTRO 60 years), or Folk, or Blues, he ensures that all with a voluptuous soprano saxophone.
Stanley is an admirer of Steve Lacy and Gerry Mulligan.
Following the purchase of a gramophone, Stanley Brinks discovered the musical songs and texts of over 30 years ofcalypso music from Trinidad. This inspired them to write two CD-R repeatedly 'in tone' "Calypso" and "More Calypso", they were joined by Clémence Freschard under their group name Kreuzberg Museum.
Stanley Brinks favors intimate places for concerts, small rooms in the apartment (in Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, via the United States or Switzerland, for example), before making it accessible after the performance.
