Summer Girl
Stereos Lyrics
Well if you feeling me, lets make a memory
My heart is melting, 'cause you're hot like the summer heat
One night is all we got, and there's no time to stop
We think about the "should we or should we not"s
And I know that you got a man
But I'm here so put me in your plans
I'll be what you need tonight,
And I'm never gonna see you again
I wanna (do-op, do-op)
Lets make it happen, shawty (do-op, do-op)
It's got to be now (do-op, do-op)
Even though we shouldn't
Summer girl, you're right for me
No need to take it slow, because soon I gotta go
Wanna get your number and I'm feeling you, really though
You know my game is tight, and now the time is right
Gotta take advantage of our one summer night
And I know that you got a man
But I'm here so put me in your plans
I'll be what you need tonight,
And I'm never gonna see you again
(do-op, do-op)
Lets make it happen, shawty (do-op, do-op)
It's gotta be now (do-op, do-op)
Even though we shouldn't
Summer girl, you're right for me
Sing it again now
(do-op, do-op)
Lets make it happen, shawty (do-op, do-op)
It's got to be now (do-op, do-op)
Even though we shouldn't
Summer girl, you're right for me
So before we say so long, before we end tonight
Girl it can't be wrong, if it feels so right
So I'll be me, shawty, you be you
We gotta make it right
Check it, check it, bounce
Let me see you move
Come on now, show me just how you do
Come on baby, shake it shake it shake it for me
Nobody else around, its just you and me
Yeah, bounce
Let me see you move
Come on now, show me just how you do
Come on baby, shake it shake it shake it for me
Nobody else around, its just you and me
I wrote a melody all about a girl like a summer breeze
I'll never see her again
Sing it again now
(do-op, do-op)
Lets make it happen, shawty (do-op, do-op)
It's got to be now (do-op, do-op)
Even though we shouldn't
Summer girl, you're right for me
Sing it again now
(do-op, do-op)
Lets make it happen, shawty (do-op, do-op)
It's got to be now (do-op, do-op)
Even though we shouldn't
Summer girl, you're right for me
I wrote a melody all about a girl like a summer breeze
I'll never see her again

I used to love this song in the ninth grade. Was super proud that they were from Canada. I do not know how I missed the autotune π

β@MysticFlow "no views.... cause they're only from canada" ????????
Literally the biggest pop artists of the past decade are from Canada, specifically Toronto: Drake, The Weeknd, Bieber.
I'm not a fan of any of them but you can'r argue how massive they are.
As for these idiots, the Stereos, it's painful they even have 100 views, this song is an atrocity to music.

@Silhouettes45 These guys were a manufactured boy-band put together by Universal music group. They pretended to win a gameshow on Much Music and get "discovered" but it was all bullshit, they were already assembled. This happen with corporate rock bands where the labels decide the band needs some 'street cred' before they plaster their faces on billboards -- so they hook up some impossibly huge opening slots for a no-name band to show they've played "real gigs" without having to grind it out and earn a fan base at the grass roots level.
The Stereos are oh so much worse because they posed as a "punk band" when their music was literally a 180 degree opposite of punkrock. This is top40 boyband pop, and not even GOOD pop to top it off.
Fuck I hated these guys and hate them now even more .. . this is like my 3rd hate-post.
Silhouettes45
@MysticFlow ironically Iβm from T dot Canada lol. More ashamed of these guys!
MysticFlow
@Silhouettes45 that's why they have no views lmao, or well 2.5m cause they're only from canada

The 4K Train Channel!
I remember this was the βsong of the summerβ the year it came out. Radio stations wouldnβt stop playing it, and somehow, I never got tired of it either!!
It sucks mainstream music is so awful now. Iβd go back to the 2000-2010s anyday
GreenComet
This is fucking awful haha

I blame tiktok, itβs all tiktok songs
Coctile Crocodile
Iβd put this and similar songs at the time in the same category as todayβs radio pop. Most of them are bad, but we get attached to them from how much we hear them and get some nostalgic value regardless of whether or not itβs actually bad.
