Stop It!!
Stop It!! came into this world on Halloween of 2001 in Richmond, VA. Two months later, they quickly recorded a 7-song demo and did a short tour--neither of which anybody seemed to notice. They continued to do that sort of thing for quite some time, playing sloppily with shitty equipment and alienating many people along the way. In an effort to try and squash crowd expectations, they worked hard and saved up for better equipment and practiced more often. This occured sometime around the release of their full-length record "Self Made Maps," (Robotic Empire/Perpetual Motion Machine). The band has trouble taking themselves seriously, enjoys karaoke and 20 questions. The band broke up in 2004 after a 6 week European tour.

Stop It!! Lyrics
Secret secret, they're shooting blanks. Well, it's tell or be told, sell or be sold. We could spend years trying to come to grips with the jargon of this sinking ship, before we learn how to swim. And I'm all lost, in a supermarket. I'm all lost again. If we can breathe bullets for ammunition, then killing of the likes of you will be our mission. Let's take this life boat and set sail. Set sail. How did we help you today, how did we turn you away, if self esteems not a tangible dream. Then we'll fucking burn their magazines, we'll fucking smash all of their t.v. screens, and someday I'd like to believe that when we look in the mirror we're not consider naive.
