Austin Reed and Ty Showers were introduced to each other in late 2008 by mutual friend and music producer, Desmond Williams (dreadStar Music). There was no doubt that after hearing Ty's music, T. Austin would opt to temporarily suspend her skills as a producer in order to contribute both powerfully driven lyrics and sultry vocals to a few of his compositions. "As a producer, I love living in obscurity," she states. "But as soon as I heard the first five seconds of Ty's music, I headed straight for the mic...and everything just flowed."
