Mather previously had experience with electro-industrial music in his former band, Aslan Faction. After some time, Aslan Faction stopped performing live and making new music, which persuaded Anthony Mather to devote himself totally to Tactical Sekt. The album Geneticide was soon put out and it featured, as Ant said in one interview: "...mostly songs that didn't fit into Aslan Faction music profile...".
Soon after Geneticide in 2003, Burn Process was released. The music and the atmosphere was much more euro-trance alike, emphasizing that Aslan Faction days were over.
In the following years Tactical Sekt were mostly performing live and doing remixes for other acts.
In spring 2006, Syncope was released.
In August of 2010, the band announced that after a long wait, a new album was in the works. There is no working title yet released.

Bring Me Violence
Tactical Sekt Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I saw the love being crushed a thousand feet below
I saw the rage rising in the morning sky
I saw the violence in each tear their families cried
Each one event brings it to me
Which one effect brings it to me?
Wait, watch, infect brings it to me
In time affects
Violence
Bring it to me, or I will bring in the end of creation
Bring it to me, violence
Or I will bring in the death of your nation
Bring it to me, violence
Or I will bring in the end of creation
Bring it to me, violence
Or I will bring in the death of this world that we live in
The lyrics of Tactical Sekt's Bring Me Violence delve into the darkness and aggression of the human psyche. The opening lines 'I saw love die in the fire in you, I saw the love being crushed a thousand feet below' speaks of the destruction of love and the emotional turmoil that follows. The lines are personal and intimate, showing the internal conflict and struggle of one's emotions. The following line 'I saw the rage rising in the morning sky' conveys the intensity of anger within an individual, becoming so significant that it reflects in the sky. The final line 'I saw the violence in each tear their families cried' speaks of the aftermath of violence and how it affects everyone connected to the victim.
The chorus 'Violence, bring it to me or I will bring in the end of creation/ Or I will bring in the death of your nation/ Or I will bring in the end of creation/ Or I will bring in the death of this world that we live in' explores the craving for violence, the need for chaos and aggression. The lyrics convey a sense of desperation and hopelessness, as if there is no other way to cope with overwhelming pain and frustration. The song ends with the repeated line 'bring it to me, violence', cementing the idea that violence ends up being an outlet when other measures are not enough.
