Oskar Schindler:
I could have got more out. I could have got more. I don't know. If I'd just... I could have got more.

Itzhak Stern:
Oskar, there are eleven hundred people who are alive because of you. Look at them.

Oskar Schindler:
If I'd made more money... I threw away so much money. You have no idea. If I'd just...

Itzhak Stern:
There will be generations because of what you did.
Oskar Schindler:
I didn't do enough!

Itzhak Stern:
You did so much.

Oskar Schindler:
This car. Goeth would have bought this car. Why did I keep the car? Ten people right there. Ten people. Ten more people.

Oskar Schindler:
This pin. Two people. This is gold. Two more people. He would have given me two for it, at least one. One more person. A person, Stern. For this.

Oskar Schindler:
I could have gotten one more person... and I didn't! And I... I didn't!

Probably one of the finest and most evocative film scores ever written. Truly beautiful.
I love the story of Williams being given a rough cut of the film and greatly moved he phoned Spielberg and said, "I cannot possibly score this film, you need a much better composer". "I know", replied Spielberg "but they are all dead"!

Violin is one of my favourite instruments and John Williams is such a genius. This move has so many qualities, the music is one of them. Thank you John to make us dream.

I remember watching this film in the the theater. When the film ended and that music and credits stopped, no one moved or applauded. They were all stunned and silent. I think that was exactly the response those who lived through, or died in the holocaust, Steven Spielberg, or John Williams would have wanted. I doubt they wanted applause. Just wanted the story told. My father and I didn't say a word until we were outside warming up the car. It was so much to even process.

You mean description.

great discription!!

I cried my eyes out watching this movie. I had to turn it off (when it came out in VHS) and walk away from it several time because is was so hard to bear. A masterpiece, but very heartbreaking like in RL. And the real part of Oskar Schindler's grave covered with little stones... So many people grateful for him, for what he did, and he cried because he couldn't save more. This is what his life was meant for, he failed at everything else he did.

Chris Edwards

Always makes me cry. With a heavy heart I feel the emotion in the music and I instantly think of the millions who were tortured and killed by the nazis in the 2nd world war. We should never let this happen again. Peace and Love to all mankind is the only way forward. Thank you John..
