of British frontman Ian Webber, guitarist Matthew Barge, bassist George Mohler, and drummer
Sam Gallagher. The Idyllists put a modern twist on 60s Britpop and mix it with traditional
American pop sensibilities, ultimately creating timeless rock & roll -- California style. The result
plays like a throwback to drive-thru movies, Sunliner convertibles, and romance. The Idyllists'
debut album THE LONG HOURS BETWEEN SUNSET & MORNING was self-released in 2009.
The album was self-produced along with David Cobb (Chris Cornell, Shooter Jennings, Nico
Vega) and recorded in LA with engineer Greg Gordon (Oasis, Hot Hot Heat, The Ting Tings,
Hank Williams III, Supergrass, Jet, The Thrills). The group is currently performing live and
recording new material with 3 additional members. These new additions include Colin Ritchie
(lead guitar), Nick Light (rhythm guitar), and Daniel Dempsey (Hammond organ). More
