They made many television appearances broadcast from the cinder, playing back up for the likes of Ike & Tina Turner, Bobby Day, Johnny Fortune, Dick & Dee Dee and others.The band decided to call it quits in 1969 when the Lido Ballroom, where the band had a residency, was forced to close its doors.
