Their music shows influence from various genres but can be simply placed in the 'Metal' section of a CD store. With intricately chaotic guitar riffs, aggressive/rocky vocal patters and metal grooves, they are for anyone that loves their music heavy yet is open to something a little different. Formed in 2003, The Jonestown Syndicate are a band that dedicates themselves to perfection in all aspects of the music scene, with an energetic live performance, these guys are a band not to be missed.
After a line-up change during 2006, the band added a more fitting vocalist to the direction they were heading and began to work on their full-length offering. The 10 track Debut album ‘Now You’re My Ghost Story’ was completed March 07 and is set to be released in May 07 through well known label Sightline Records with major label Shock Records distribution.
The band have extended their fan base by constantly touring Australia playing alongside bands such as 'Karnivool', 'I killed the prom queen', 'Alarum', 'Something with numbers' to name a few and have also completed a full international tour of New Zealand playing their final show alongside US giants Darkest Hour to an overwhelming response.
