The ensemble has contributed to soundtracks for major Hollywood films including: About a Boy, Count of Monte Cristo, Event Horizon, The Saint, Gangs of New York, Hannibal Rising, Johnny English, Mr. Holland's Opus, Reign of Fire, Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, The Rugrats Movie, Rules of Engagement, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Stardust, The Young Victoria and Titus.
LMO has worked with many of film music’s best known composers including: Danny Elfman, Elliot Goldenthal, Mark Isham, Michael Kamen, David Newman, Basil Poledouris, Ed Shearmur, Howard Shore and Christopher Young.
Besides this film work, London Metropolitan Orchestra has gained recognition for television soundtracks including: Band of Brothers, From the Earth to the Moon, Inspector Morse, Lorna Doone and Victoria & Albert
