Going All The Way
The Squires Lyrics

I'm going all the way, pretty baby
Before my time is through, yeah
I'm going all the way, pretty baby
To see what I can do
All the things that I've been looking for, yeah
Every one I find
I'll see the sights, I'll hear the sounds
Before the end of my time

Chorus:
I'm going all the way, yeah
I'm going all the way
I'm going all the way, yeah, oh

[repeat intro]

My hopes are gettin' so much higher
My soul is burnin' inside, yeah
That flame is turnin' to a fire
Just like the change in the tide

I'll see the towns from the north to the south
From the east to the west, yeah
All the cities, all the countries
Before that long, long rest, yeah

Dedicated to my best pal and my lead guitarist, Jimmy W. Jimmy was killed by a drunk driver in January 1966 (just two days shy of his sixteenth birthday). This was his kind of sound. Rest in peace, Jimmy. We'll meet again.

Everything starts and ends in the 60's.

I definitely agree. 1966 was rock's pinnacle. The music was PERFECT. The fashion (clothes, hair etc) was PERFECT.

@conky treverson You're a little harsh, there's plenty of excellent bands and genres from the 90s to this day.

From the 50s to the late eightys, from rock and roll to thrash metal. Hell even the grunge era in the 90s had some good tunes everything died in the mid to late 90s early 2000s

for the mainstream 1955 - 1966 and then you had to go to the garage and early psychedelic era. then you had to go totally underground. then punk.

Alec Bilicki

Without the Stooges, definitely no punk either and they started around '67. First album came out in '69.
