1. The Sticks are a primeaval trio from Brighton, United Kingdom, active on Upset The Rhythm Records
"The Sticks, in short, champion the analog, the home-made and the D.I.Y., drawing inspiration equally from mid-60s garage bands and late 70s post-punk. Theirs is the sound of the resolutely untrained (non) musician, all for improvisation and spontaneity, but wary of self-indulgence and pretension. Some may label them Luddites, but I suspect they'd wear that badge with pride." (Ben Graham)
2. The Sticks are an indie rock band from Melbourne, Australia, established in 2005 when Paul and Bernard, two Polish brothers, discovered their ability to make music and joined forces with Nick (and his drum kit) to create a sound that became the soundtrack to Melbourne's young and restless. The end of 2006 saw The Sticks release their debut, self-titled and independent EP, proving that their live presence translates just as well when placed in a recording studio.
The Sticks have rocked magazine launches and gigged at just about every bar and club in Melbourne from the sandy streets of St Kilda’s Espy Hotel and Palace, to the inner city lane ways and alleys at Hi-Fi Bar and Ding Dong Lounge.
