No one to talk with, all by myself
No one to walk with, but I'm happy on the shelf
Ain't misbehavin', I'm savin' my love for you.

I know for certain the one i love
I'm through with flirtin', it's you I'm thinkin' of
Ain't Misbehavin', I'm savin' my love for you.

Like Jack Horner in the corner
don't go nowhere, what do I care
Your kisses are worth waitin' for. .. Believe me.

I don't stay out late, no place to go
I'm home about 8, just me and my radio
Ain't Misbehavin', I'm savin' all my love for you

He can stride with complex chords casually while singing, while looking away. I cannot stride even basic level with full focus. This man is a true legend.

Sacco Belmonte

He is a legend. He probably played that song so many times is just like riding a bicycle for him.

Moldy Oldie

@D Me Gee, I thought that was Harpo Marx.

@Moldy Oldie Word is that he used to keep bananas in his sleeves 😆

Moldy Oldie

@D Me George Shearing once shook Fats's hand, and he said it was like grabbing a bunch of bananas.

@Sore Wreckedum Can you play stride piano? While looking away? If not, you can't speak on the difficulty. I play guitar and piano, & I can tell you, there's a BIG difference.

In 1926, Al Capone had his thugs kidnap Waller, & they took him - blindfolded, to play piano at a 3-day Capone birthday party. Waller said he was payed really well, treated nicely, & released, exhausted, but with a pocketful of cash, when the party finally ended.

No mention of the soup kitchens Capone opened to feed people... while the govt did nothing. Italians were not considered white in those days. Southern Italians were very dark; hence, no Italian is white. My family experienced the usual great welcome that immigrants received - go back to your country! Hence the growth of Italian neighborhoods before the turn of the century. Italians became white post WWII. Not saying Capone was a great man, but bad men do good things too.

Dam, that should be a whole movie

@Charles Logan okay first of all, anyone would say they were treated nicely if they were just kidknapped by one of the biggest gangsters of all time and made it out alive, secondly he was paid a bunch. money says a lot.
