In 2007, a track that stormed the airwaves "Shotgun Glory Death" was released, being both critically and commercially successful. This was soon followed up by "The Scat Album" featuring all 20 tracks from the original scat recordings, an eclectic and unlikable mix of noise, pain and suffering. Pitchforkmedia recently rated this record 11/10.
After a lengthy hiatus, UT returned in 2010 with a set of cover versions of various classic and modern pop tunes, under the title "Cover Your Ears." The covers were critically acclaimed for their highly unique takes on the originals, especially "Rockstar," "My Heart Will Go On," and "She's so Lovely."
In November 2011, the third record "This is the New Scat," was released. Including contributions from Nosebleed, a cover version of the Vaccines "Wet Suit", the no.1 Christmas song in Luxembourg "Festive Scat" the prayer techno of "This is a Nightmare" and the usual filler, particularly overlong spoken word pieces inspired by the great Shatner. Unwilling to repeat themselves, Untalented Nobody disbanded after recording by commiting seppuku, but expect to ressurect and reform for the 25th anniversary world tour.
