During the years he played in a few bands. The most important one has been Noema, in which he had been connected for more than ten years now.
'Prize Day' is the first album as solo artist. It’s a crossroad where the romantic obsession of the new wave meets the rhythm and energy of funk and the sweetness of soul, with some folk electroacoustic forays.
The songs share a musical world. Besides they share a thin line in the lyrics.
The thin line is about the human relations in this age. Especially in a big city.
It’ s a long walk through the streets of this big city, facing the change of urban rhythms, while a lot of questions and reflections cross our minds. Questions about relations between lovers, friends, parents and sons. There are sudden changes of moods in this connection.
There are also sudden changes of moods in this connection. It is friendship and love. Sometimes taking off and sometimes falling down on large, well lit streets, to dark cold and lonely alleys which visually represents the moods of the mind. And through it all, time prevails by the flowing of life. Dreams and ambitions can and do collide with the reality of the man's growth.
'Prize Day' has been recorded with the support of great musicians of the Italian indie scene. Andrea Viti (Afterhours, Karma), Alessio Russo, Claudio Domestico (Gnut), the sound engineer and producer Guido Andreani, looking for good vibes more than just musical side, trying to form a band in the studio that will perform live.
