1) Viva is a German Heavy Metal Band hailing from Hanover. They formed in 1980. They achieved some success in the early eighties. Style-wise, as heard on 1981's What The Hell Is Going On, Viva was firmly rooted in early 80's rock/metal. The band featured Barbara Schenker on keyboards and Marc Paganini on vocals. The band has released five albums. Eventually Schenker and Paganini put together a new lineup in 2007, but no recordings came of this lineup. Albums = Blue Jeans Forever, Born To Rock, What The Hell Is Going On, Dealers Of The Night, Apocalypse & Cream Cake Box.

Viva's first song Nirvana was released in Spain, and quickly became a # 1 song on the Billboard charts and remained #1 for 6 consecutive weeks.
