We Smoke Fags were a band from Stockwell/Holloway, London who mixed punk, r… Read Full Bio ↴We Smoke Fags were a band from Stockwell/Holloway, London who mixed punk, rock and electronic elements into their music. The band has been championed by DJ Steve Lamacq with their song 'Eastenders'.
We Smoke Fags announced their split on the 11th June 2009 on their Myspace blog "We Smoke Fags..The End?" stating that they didn't initially split but were too busy working on other projects and that they eventually decided to call it a day.
The band members were:
Joey - Vocals/Guitars/programming
Lee - Bass/Vocals [When Lee was younger, he acted in a show for the BBC called "The Ghost Hunter" playing William Povey the shoe shine boy]
Harry - Guitars/Vocals
The band are also well known for sampling, for instance in the song "Lust puppet" they sample the soundtrack from the game "SiN" quite heavily.
They where signed to indie label sixsevenine.
