The Mez is set to host a night of female empowerment through rock. Nur said she and her crew craft songs that glide across genre barriers and aim to make the listener feel energized, drawing inspiration through various 90s girl bands. The result is a genre-bending sound with loose boundaries Nur calls alternative rock, though her songs often combine sounds from a wide range of inspirations.
