Band release Concept and history of the band.
Blending rock, Brazilian sambas and some pinches of rap and reggae, all these added up to romantic poetry and to a strong sense of social criticism, the band Zumbira e os Palmares proposes a new way of doing original and prejudice-free music.In this melting pot of different ideas, influences and music styles relies the essence of the band’s music.
Formed in March 2000 in the Faculty of Communications of the Federal University in Porto Alegre, the band is composed by: Zumbira (guitar and acoustic guitar, vocals and lyrics), Andre Lucciano (drums), Christian Badino (bass), Guilherme Shwalm (guitar and effects), Rodrigo de Castro (Muralha) (percussion and backing vocals), Rodrigo Susin (percussion and lyrics).
Having launched a demo CD in 2001 labeled Rock + Samba + Psicoledia, and having accomplished a single in the end of 2002 (Na fragilidade do Olhar – intensely broadcast through the radio in Porto Alegre), the band has conquered its space on its local music scene.
Later, in 2003, the band has introduced a new single that was once again very well greeted labeled “Ainda bem que eu tenho a Nega”, a tune widely executed by the radios and at the main nightlife venues of Porto Alegre.In 2005, the band presented a third single—Não tem Choro—in which disco and soul music have met the Brazilian sway, resulting in a perfect track both for dancing and for enjoyment.
In April 2007 the Zumbira and Palmares launch its first CD entitled ROCKSAMBA with launching done in the Bar Review, one of the largest houses of concerts in Porto Alegre, with estimated audience of 1,500 people, the CD is marketed across the south of parents with support from Multisom Shops, CD that sold out in stores in less than 3 months, is also launched to countries such as CD CUBA, Argentina and some countries of Europe through contact achieved by the advent of the Internet.
The following Zumbira Concerts with the capital of Rio Grande do Sul and Interior, and currently produces 2 video clips, and pre production for the next CD.

A partir da mistura do rock com sambas brasileiros e algumas pitadas de rap e reggae, aliados à poesia romântica, mas também de forte crítica social, a banda Zumbira e os Palmares propõe um novo jeito de fazer música original e livre de preconceitos.
Nessa fusão de idéias, influências e gêneros musicais diferentes, encontra-se a essência da sonoridade da banda.
Formada em março de 2000 na Faculdade de Comunicação da UFRGS em Porto Alegre, a banda é composta por: Zumbira (guitarra, violão, voz, e composições), Andre Lucciano (bateria), Christian Badino (baixo), Guilherme Schwalm (guitarra e efeitos), Rodrigo de Castro (Muralha) (percussão e backing vocals), Rodrigo Susin (percussão e letras).

Posteriormente em 2003 lançou novo single que outra vez foi muito bem recebido chamado Ainda Bem que eu Tenho a Nega, música muito executada nas rádios e festas de Porto Alegre.
Em 2005 a banda a banda lançou seu terceiro single intitulado Não Tem Choro que mistura disco, soul music e a malandragem brasileira numa música feita pra dançar e se divertir.
Em abril de 2007 a Zumbira e os Palmares lançam seu primeiro CD entitulado ROCKSAMBA, com lançamento feito no Bar Opinião , uma das maiores casas de shows de Porto Alegre, com publico estimado de 1500 pessoas, o CD é comercializado em todo o sul do pais com apoio das Lojas Multisom, CD esse esgotado nas lojas em menos de 3 meses, tambem foi lançado CD para paises como CUBA, Argentina e alguns paises da europa atraves de contato conseguidos atraves do advento da internet.
A Zumbira segue com Shows pela capital do Rio Grande do Sul e Interior, e atualmente produz 2 videoclipes , e pré produções para o proximo CD.

Mélangeant le rock avec des sambas brésiliens, quelques poignées de rap et de reggae, alliés à de la poésie romantique, et avec une forte critique sociale également, la bande Zumbira e os Palmares propose une nouvelle façon, originale et libre de préjugés, de faire de la musique.
C'est en effet dans ce creuset d'idées, d'influences et de différents genres musicaux que se trouve l'essence de la sonorité de la bande.Créé en mars 2000 dans la Faculté de Communication de la UFRGS (Université Fédérale de Rio Grande do Sul) à Porto Alegre, le groupe est composé par:
Zumbira (guitare, guitare acoustique, voix et compositions), André Lucciano (batterie), Christian Badino (guitare basse), Guilherme Schwalmm (guitare et effets), Rodrigo de Castro (Muraille) (percussion et backing vocal), Rodrigo Susin (percussion et paroles).

En 2005, le groupe a lancé son troisième single intitulé Não tem choro, lequel amalgame la soul music et la malice brésilienne, créant ainsi une musique parfaite pour la danse et pour se faire plaisir.
En Abri 2007, le palmarès Zumbira et lancer son premier CD intitulé ROCKSAMBA au lancement fait dans la Revue du Barreau, une des plus grandes maisons de concerts à Porto Alegre, avec une estimation du public de 1500 personnes, le CD est commercialisé à travers le sud des parents avec le soutien de Multisom Boutiques, CD vendus dans les magasins en moins de 3 mois, est également lancé dans des pays tels que les CD CUBA, l'Argentine et certains pays de l'Europe par le biais de contacts réalisés par l'avènement de l'Internet.
