Austin describes Aqua Alta’s musical direction as “simply to make country music for aliens.” Shimmering vocals glisten a top of driving beats and churning synth pop noises led by the pair of Austin and Campbell, while Grant handles lyrics and vocal melodies. Together their electro love songs provide the perfect listening remedy for the voyage if you so happened to become lost at sea.
Dreamsphere was self produced and recorded Echo Chamber in Halifax, Canada and is set for release 24th February 2015 in Canada and available R.O.W. now.
“serene electro dream pop from Nova Scotia"- The Times (UK)
“perfectly constructed electronic indie-pop songs…Grant’s distinctive voice weaves effortlessly through a variety of lovely sonic textures” Amazing Radio
"shimmers of electronica sit behind Grant’s gorgeous vocal" Gold Flake Paint

I am in love with this song. I heard it on CBC's The Signal. So much adoration.... thank you.

Wow, spectacular! Sometimes I delude myself thinking the great voices are the big ones - Adele, Janis, Celine, etc.., then Jen comes along and blows it all up. Just beautiful, thanks Jen! Great song!

+Paul Lazarus I don't know if you've heard Compostelo but it's amazing. The whole album I mean.
Paul Lazarus
Yes, Vicki heard Compostelo, fantastic, thanks! Also shockingly similar voice, total Jenn Grant double - Laura Gibson "The Cause", spectacular song and voice. Was 110% positive it was Jenn.
