最初の録音はアメリカで有名なーテナーのマコーマック氏がその前に吹き込んでいたそうです。藤原氏はかなり緊張したようです。その結果として波乗り越えてと歌ってしまったとかいう話を40年近く前のNHKの番組に出ていた藤山一郎氏が言っておられました。

このバージョンははじめて聴きました。いつもピアノ一本伴奏バージョンしか聞いたことがなかったので。
ちなみにピアノ一本の方は一番の歌詞が違うようです。
