I saw a video of the "10 worst movies of 20XX", before I watched Climax, where they absolutely trashed it, mostly because, as they said "it was like watching people who had never been high and we're just pretending to do what they thought being high looked like" (not verbatim but certainly the point)...
Like you said, it gave you the feeling!
For the record, try and remember yourself, if you've ever been there, or ask someone who has, to describe it.
This film isn't trying to represent "reality" - it's trying to capture the "experience".
I thought it did a great job.
My review of it is - "I couldn't take my eyes off the screen"
... and it's not a narrative movie that you have to pay attention to in order to understand. It's something else.

The sangria scene in the film, plus the song by itself, always makes me feel like the acid is starting to drop. The film actually captures the sensation of it, amazing.

The feeling of this song is to be constantly falling, with no end in sight.
@charlotte96ify
Sangria reminds me of a panic attack, start with your heart pounding more and more, noises in your head stronger and stronger until you can’t breath nor understanding what’s going on
@andrefaria7567

nice to know those two madmen are still actively working in their field of art.
@FannyctalopeTV
Thomas Bangalter actually composed this in the 90'. This track is time travel
