Tube Snake Boogie
ZZ Top Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I got a girl she lives cross town
She's the one that really gets down when she boogie
She do the tube snake boogie
Well now, boogie, little baby
Boogie-woogie all night long

I got a gal, she lives on the block
She kinda funky with her pink and black socks, she likes to boogie
She do the tube snake boogie
Well now, boogie-woogie baby
Boogie-woogie all night long

I got a girl, she lives on the hill
She won't do it but her sister will when she boogie
She do the tube snake boogie
Well now, boogie, little baby
Boogie-woogie all night long
Blow your top, blow your top, blow your top!

Saw them @Elks's Lodge first time in Pasadena, Tx... '69-70. Around Htown a few times later on. My freshman buddies bought a 100w. Marshall head from Billy. He played "Brown Sugar" in a demo. They only had 1 or 2 lps out...
I, also, saw Rocky Hill, Dusty's brother, a couple times... Badass guitarist back then!..

I was privileged to see ZZ Top in Mt Pleasant, MI just days before the passing of Dusty Hill. It was one of the best concerts of my life. George Thorogood and John Fogerty of CCR opened up for ZZ Top. RIP Dusty Hill and my condolences to Frank and Billy. You guys are legends!
