It was Jesus passing by with a crowd and it stirred his emotions

There was nothing for the man to lose by attempting to ask Jesus for assistance.

Thus, the man pleaded with Jesus not to disregard him and asked for assistance.

He cried out Jesus, I'm not ashamed(to tell you) I need you in my life
The man was not ashamed to confess that he required assistance in his life from Jesus.

I'm not much different from that man, and this is the honest truth
