In "On The Ground," Rosé contemplates her journey from humble beginnings to success, reflecting on how material things were once so important to her but no longer hold the same allure. She has been on a journey to figure out the best way to articulate her lyrical stance and prove herself musically. But then, success came like lightning, and it hit her hard. She thought that everything she worked for was up in the clouds, and she was afraid that she would fall. However, she was able to find a ground that would help her become stable to avoid falling or losing a sense of balance.
