Well, I've been listening to this since the album was published but the slight delay between sequencer beat and guitar at 2:03 still amazes me. it's just perfect (same concept applied at 0:52 but the outcome is somehow different maybe because at 2:03 we get back from distortion bridge to a cleaner sound... I don't know).

The year is 2012 and I'm sitting in Dave's garage having just tried some weird new research chemical we got in the mail. Murderers is playing in the background at the moment that the nod starts to set in. My head is heavy and my neck isn't doing a very good job of keeping it up. I'm slumped. Yet I can feel every note of this song. Time had slowed down and the music had pierced through my eardrums and gone straight to my brain. I'm not only hearing the music, I'm feeling the music. It's driving the visuals that I'm seeing in the back of my eyelids. It felt like the song went on forever but it couldn't have been more than a couple of minutes. Then out of nowhere comes the sharp comedown and I'm left confused, unsure and yearning for more. That's what hearing this reminds me of.
