My calculations are based on going through puberty. There are some late bloomers (such as myself who’s voices don’t change till 14, Orr even 15. In reality because of how going through puberty works, Link’s age (child or adult) is unknown. It’s up for interpretation.

The memory in my life that I cherish the most is when I was 7 years old and I wanted this game so much, I'd read every gaming magazine and talk with my friends how hyped I was and how badly I wanted to play this game. Sadly my father didnt have much money and I had only Super mario 64 to play for years which left me with little hope that I would play it anytime soon. The day OoT launched I almost begged my father to buy me it and he said he couldnt, that he was tired from work and didnt have enough money for it. I walked back to my room sad as a sad boy can be. A few moments later he knocked on my door and said that he would buy me the game if I took out the monster living in the basement. I was shocked, not even knowing there was a monster in the basement in the first place, but then I went there to confront it as Link himself would do. When I entered there my father turned on the lights and there it was: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The big box edition with huge manuals, art book and everything I could've wanted. This was the happiest day in my life. I miss you dad, you were the best and I hope you are doing fine up there, thank you very much for everything!!!!

I’ve lost count of how many times I played this game from start to finish. Every time I just felt like taking a break from doing dungeons / sidequests id always come here. There’s just something so comforting about it, maybe that when you come back as adult link you realised how dark and corrupt the world actually was but Malon was still there, singing the same song she always did as a child.

Similar to real life, you feel a small dose of genuine peace and calmness within a crashing world.

Well, this is the game that splits the timeline. So yeah, whatever actions the Hero of Time does in his adventure leads to multiple outcomes for Hyrule and it's people.

Kind of crazy how some of the series most notable games have their conflicts traced back to this particular point in the timeline. Time travel is a hell of a thing.

I so adore this theme. I'd love to have a no kill humane and peaceful farm with beautiful cows and horses as well as veggies and nut trees and chickens. I'd love to be a self sufficient farmer that feeds myself and cherishes and takes care of her animals. This song makes me think about that. There's something about the almost-but-not-quite human sounding N64 synth that I really like here. I have heard really awesome remakes of this song that use real voices and instruments, but it couldn't replace this version. It feels like some kind of spirit or being removed from reality as we know it, expressing longing to get back to the place that they once lived their quaint human lives in.

Such a beatiful song. My oldest brother introduced me to Zelda and this was the first game I played through. This has always been my nostalgic track. I Sent this to my brother a month before he killed himself. I just played through TotK and was SO EXCITED to play with him. He never got to experience it. We talked about it and now I feel incredibly alone. This song is both sad and comforting to me now. Not that I want to, but if I should die, I think I'd like this played at my funeral.
