Crash
Fit For Rivals Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Everybody's running, everybody's running
Come back after all is broken
Everything is burning, no one is returning
Step back, step back, everybody step back, step back
It's time to pick up the slack, the slack, you ought to know
Save me from this wicked person I've become
As the world comes crashing
Don't know why I'm crawling
Everybody's running, everybody's running
Re-spun back to where there's something
Everything was falling, trust in what was nothing
Step back, step back, everybody step back, step back
It's time to pick up the slack, the slack, you ought to know
Save me from this wicked person I've become
As the world comes crashing
Save me from this wicked person I've become
As the world comes crashing
Save me from this wicked person I've become
As the world comes crashing
Save me from this wicked person I've become
As the world comes crashing
Save me from this wicked person I've become
As the world comes crashing
The lyrics to Fit For Rivals' song "Crash" is a cry for help from someone who feels lost and hopeless in the world. The singer is unsure of where they are going, while everyone else seems to be running and escaping from something. They feel broken and abandoned, with everything burning around them and no one returning to help. The repetition of the lines "step back, step back, everybody step back" is a plea for the people around them to stop and take notice of what's happening, to "pick up the slack" and lend a hand.
The chorus of the song echoes the sentiment of the verses, with the singer asking to be saved from the "wicked person" they have become as the world crashes down around them. The use of the word "wicked" adds an interesting layer to the lyrics, as it suggests that the singer sees themselves as the villain in their own story. The repetition of the chorus drives home the urgency and desperation of their plea for help.
Overall, "Crash" is a powerful song that captures the feeling of being lost and alone in a chaotic world. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of a person on the brink of collapse, crying out for someone to save them.

2022 and still sounds fresh. Hands down it could've been released this year and compete with the new pop-punk wave easily
@cat_died
Had this song pop up randomly today, and dead ass thought it was new.

Its got the shitty 2007-2013 dead broken drums 🥁 they sound broken. They just hit the tambarine a billing times and call it music. I guess that's why they call it punk. It's not perfect. It's a mess. It's not a work of art.
