@Elizabeth Amaefule John 21: 24 This is the disciple who is testifying to these things and wrote these things, and we know that his testimony is true.
25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they *were written in detail, I suppose that even the world itself *would not contain the books that *would be written.

Acts 1: 1 The first account I composed, Theophilus, about all that Jesus began to do and teach, 2 until the day when He was taken up to heaven, after He had [b]by the Holy Spirit given orders to the apostles whom He had chosen. 3 To [c]these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.

John 14: 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) *said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.

John 7: 15 The Jews then were astonished, saying, “How has this man become learned, having never been educated?” 16 So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself. 18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

19 “Did not Moses give you the Law, and yet none of you carries out the Law? Why do you seek to kill Me?” 20 The crowd answered, “You have a demon! Who seeks to kill You?”

She was given the opportunity to allow us to know her through AGT and that within itself is a blessing. RIP Nightbirde....

Day is done
Gone the sun
From the lakes
From the hills
From the sky
All is well
Safely rest
God is nigh
Thanks and praise for our days
Neath the sun
Neath the stars
Neath the skies
As we go, this we know
God is nigh
God is nigh

We all walk this road one day..

@Kathy Cox The Bible tells us in Eccl. 9:5-6 :
"For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun."
Moreover, Psalm 115:17 says: "The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence."
Also, God declared in Gen. 3:19 :
"In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."
Notice that God does not at any point say that while the body returns to dust, a person will join Him in heaven. He says we are dust and we return to dust when we die. A human being is dust + God's breath = a living soul. Death is simply life in reverse. Without God's breath of life, we cease to exist.
Further, in the New Testament, Jesus called death "a sleep/asleep". (see, John 11:11; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 5:9-10).
2 Cor. 5:8 says:
"We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." [Emphasis added. I included this verse as it is often misquoted, and since we as a human being cannot exist outside of our body, "the body" in this reference is the body of Christ, which we are called collectively as believers.
Lastly, Jesus reminds us in John 14:1-3 that His Second Coming actually precedes our journey to Heaven (both for the righteous dead and the righteous living when Jesus returns), for He has promised, " . . . And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
(see John 5:28-29)
