+André Barbosa Arantes I know what he sings, I think the don't want you to be my girl is a reference to the way we often lie to ourselves that we don't actually want to go there when we do. It's bullshit that allows you to carry on without taking that risk.
I disagree that there's enthusiasm, I think the vocals and the video show a lot of pain.
